Subject: Rant Poison – Who is the radical here?
Mark Stinson, your 1100-word rant betrays an anger easy to radicalize by nefarious sources with zero credibility and awfully bad intentions. Please change the channel, take a walk, and breathe deeply. All that misplaced hostility is bad for your heart, mind, soul, and community.
Honorable, decent, thoughtful local citizens have long felt the statue was inappropriately placed and antagonistic. Teachers, librarians, Girl & Boy Scout leaders, cashiers, truck drivers, business owners, farmers, and so many other kind neighbors peacefully worked for its removal.
We are not sheep! We are your neighbors. Many of us live just down the street from your front door.
