Subject: Immigration or feeding at the trough?
I’ve seen them waiting at the Employment Security Commission (ESC) in Siler City. Unable to speak English yet applying for, and RECEIVING, unemployment compensation. I’ve seen allegedly single mothers (illegal alien mothers) signing up for U.S. and N.C. “benefits” while actually married to an illegal alien husband working for cash at jobs Chatham citizens not only want but cannot afford to compete for. e.g. A Chatham citizen must obtain Workmen’s Compensation insurance, general liability insurance, Privilege License / Business License, in some cases must be bonded and insured for the specific work offered, pay fair wages, payroll taxes, special employers’ taxes and fees, etc. etc. etc.
But an illegal alien can pull up to your house, offer a new roof, maneuver around using foam rubber cushions and offer you such a great deal no Chatham citizen can match. What a fantastic deal! Of course you have to pay cash but [wink wink] we all know what THAT means. If an illegal alien is caught up in any kind of accident, or performance issue, they simply disappear and start again elsewhere.
So how many “single, illegal alien mothers” sign up for “benefits” in Chatham County, NC, and other counties in other states while their husbands work for cash? How many brothers/sisters/cousins share multiple houses in multiple states collecting “benefits” in each one? All they need are multiple forms of identification no matter where they come from.
I met a guy from Alamance County who owns and operates a concrete business. He decries the fact he hired illegal aliens, taught them the concrete business, and they saved up enough cash to start their own businesses and compete against him RIGHT HERE. He could not compete given the fact he runs a legitimate business and they do not.
So enjoy your lawn being mowed by illegal aliens while you save so much money compared to those high prices Chatham citizens charge. Your retirement is safe. Those Chatham citizens are probably evil republicans anyway!
Remember, back in 2008-9, the Chatham Democrat Board of Commissioners declared Chatham County a Sanctuary County for illegal aliens and stood against deportation? Do you think the democrat candidates for the BOC will stand up for Chatham citizens or illegal aliens driving DOWN wages for everyone? Most of those Chatham Democrat leaders are either wealthy, government employees, or retired government / union members. That is how they have the time to perform their socialist activism. YOU are too busy working or looking for work.
