Subject: What was that??

Does anyone know exactly what it was that made a house-shaking explosion Sat. night about 8:15?  From various sources, it was heard  and felt from Cruizers at Andrews Store Road/15-501 to somewhere down on Pea Ridge Road.  It was powerful around the homes near Sugar Lake  Rd. and Mt. Gilead Church Road and actually shook one enough to send  the owner in his car to try and find the source, thinking a gas station exploded.  With me, 3 miles away from them, it sent my dog  berserk and the pressure pushed in my back door (which must not have  been securely latched), with nary a natural breeze occuring.

Another resident said she, about an hour later, saw an incredible,  green-tailed comet come down over Jordan Lake.  I guess it could be related, space junk.  I’ve also read that most meteors burn up before they actually touch the ground.  It also could be one of those new and illegal targets that explode and damage nearby foundations when they are shot at.  Or who knows?

Can anyone pinpoint where this originated?  Or some real damage caused by it and where the center was?  Or what the heck it was?  Curious minds want to know.
