Subject: raccoon that had been hanging around in a tree
I have a young, juvenile (I think) raccoon that had been hanging around in a tree across from my fenced yard and driving one of my dogs insane. I am a bit nervous, worrying if he may possibly be brave..if not stupid enough, to climb into my yard and I would hate for one of my dogs to tangle with him.
So my question, what’s the best and easiest way to humanely trap it, so I can find it a new home…far into the woods.
I can’t afford to pay someone to come and trap it, so am also looking to find someone that can allow me to borrow a Havahart trap.
