A july 1st export tax on corn from the Ukraine seems a likely occurrence and a real problem. Corn producing countries would have to decide between improved foreign currency reserves from exports and higher local food prices with an export tax on corn.
I have no information about a loading dock problem, here or at the port of landing, presumably Wilmington.
I also have not seen anyone blaming anybody, but we are looking for a way to keep our poultry business alive. Also impacts beef production as litter is an important source of fertilizer for pastures.
Complex and interrelated we are !!!!
Please contribute whatever you may to a solution.
Maybe we can find a buyer.
