Oh come on, you can’t do an extra one click a day on the Delete button? 😉
Seriously though this isn’t such a bad idea. I would even amend this to see about setting up a second list instead.
So Gene, what about the idea of a Chatham Chatlist as we have now, and a Chatham Classifieds list that would run all week as well.
The downside is obviously maintaining a second list (though I’d imagine there’d not be much necessary with a classifieds list). The upside is that you’d not have to go through all the the incoming chatlist posts, separating all the classifieds postings from the regular chatter, it may actually SAVE you some time.
Another benefit beyond what Greg originally mentioned is that we’d avoid situations where someone would send a classified post on Tuesday for a sale event on Thursday, not realizing that their ad won’t go out until Friday.
Anyway, just thought I’d add my support for Greg’s suggestion.
