After two years of research and different approaches, PSA consulted with the USDA regarding the buzzard issue. The only recommendation they could make was to engage them to properly deter the buzzards from further destroying our property and creating a health hazard by hanging several dead vultures around the property. That is the only way to try and encourage them to relocate.

Therefore, we have a contract with the USDA and a consent from the Town of Pittsboro Chief of Police regarding this matter. Chatham County and the Town of Pittsboro were amenable to this action in hopes that it will help preserve their new Social Services building which the buzzards are still trying to eat. They eat the rubber around the windows, rubber on the roof and employee windsheild wipers consistently.
