Subject: Miss Piggy and Kermit
In N.A. Booko’s post, she wondered why Miss Piggy would like (or kiss) a frog. Well, my dear, many of us grew up with Cinderella stories and the belief we could turn a frog into a prince with just one kiss! I happen to like frogs, and Kermit’s sorta cute, so I understand why she would like him, anyway, even if he didn’t become a handsome prince.
I also think that the Muppets were in the late 60’s or early 70’s, because it was Howdy Doody time in the 50’s, and I’m not sure what was happening in the 60’s with cartoons, cause by then revolution and flower power were in the air! Maybe it was that “keep on truckin” dude?
To make this chathamcentric, I’d like to point out there are still frogs hopping around our county~! You can even find some old toads, too!
