Why is gas 15 to 17 cents more in Pittsboro than in Siler City or Sanford?

Can someone tell me why Pittsboro charges from 15 to 17 cents more for gas then Siler and Sanford?

I end up just waiting till I go to Walmart and grab gas for $2.38 a gallon instead of paying $2.59 or a little less in Pittsboro, so not a big deal. Just the question why such a difference?
