Chatham County Extension Master Gardener Volunteers will be hosting an all day Herb Symposium September 20, 2024 at the Ag and Conference building in Pittsboro.
Registration will open at 8 AM and the symposium will officially end at 4 PM with shopping available until 5PM.
Henrietta Cummings and Brie Arthur are the two keynote speakers in the morning with one breakout session before lunch. There will be two breakout sessions after lunch and time for shopping with 12 vendors. There will also be tours of the Demonstration garden created by the Master Gardeners and under the guidance of Extension’s own Matt Jones.
Twelve vendors with herb plants, native plants, pottery, herbal products, honey, tea plants, soaps, seeds, and two local authors selling their books. The public will be invited to shop from 4 to 5 PM.
