Please remember that the second neighborhood meeting about a rezoning proposal for 63 acres of wooded property on Alston Chapel Road will be held Thursday evening at 6:00 pm at the Chatham County Agriculture and Conference Center. All neighbors and concerned citizens are encouraged to attend.
At the first neighborhood meeting in April we learned that Pulte Homes is requesting rezoning from the Town of Pittsboro to allow them to build 190 housing units on 63 acres near the intersection of Alston Chapel Road and Old Goldston Road. The property is currently zoned for residential (one home per acre) or agricultural use. If you were at the first meeting, please come again to learn what Pulte has changed about their plan. If you missed the first meeting, please come on Thursday night to get the latest information.
