There’s a Red Wave going on all over the country! We can continue that wave in Chatham County. It’s not healthy to have One Party Rule in the county for too long. Let someone else have a go at it! Perhaps a different perspective might shed light and provide solutions for some of the issues we are facing in Chatham County.
Those issues are difficult, but solutions must be found for our county to move forward in a productive way. Many of the Conservative Republican candidates for local and state level office in our area have been addressing these issues. After many years, the mega sites in Chatham County are now succeeding with the coming of VinFast and Wolfspeed. The groundwork for these sites was done by our County Commissioners during that time when we actually had Republicans on the County Commission.
Waste water management was also addressed by Republican candidates during recent forums. How we deal with waste water is so very important, as our county is growing so fast. Let’s have another perspective, a conservative perspective, to deal with this complicated issue. The current model says it is a state level issue. This must be dealt with by the county for the health and safety of our citizens. We must pursue solutions and the task force was a good start.
Woke theory has infiltrated every aspect of our society. This distracts and distorts the true mission of people trying to do the jobs they are supposed to do. Once an institution becomes woke, they forget what their real job is and pursue woke goals only, unrelated to their mission. I guarantee that the Republican and Conservative candidates, if elected, will not go down the woke rabbit hole. Please vote for Republican candidates to stop the trajectory towards political extremism and wokeness.
Our county deserves a change in the elected leadership to make sure we have a plan to promote economic growth, waste water management, clean water, and address the unfair County Tier system. The Tier classification regards Chatham County as a wealthy county. That isn’t fair to the poorer sections in the western part of the county because it makes it so difficult for them to receive much needed grants.
The interests of all parts of the county should be represented on the county commission. People have complained that this is not so. Taxes have continued to increase over the years of One Party (Democrat) Rule in Chatham County.
We have a beautiful county! Surrounding counties’ land is more expensive and less available. We must make sure our county doesn’t get blighted by unsightly green energy projects pushed through by climate fanatics. This eventually leads to rusting and toxic equipment that needs to be removed. This would include wind, solar, and battery projects. Also wind projects are highly destructive to the bird population.
Join me, a concerned Chatham County citizen, in voting Republican and Conservative locally. The Democrats’ woke climate policies have led to crushing inflation, high gas and rapidly rising food prices. Republicans understand the person who is being hurt by high gas and grocery prices on a daily basis. Republican policies will reduce inflation and alleviate the troubles of working families.
