It has been exactly one year ago today that Chatham County native Tommy Edwards died. Something so shocking, it is no easier to accept now, than it was then. The singer, the songs, the friend gone. The melodious sounds of his voice and the toe tapping, and strumming- Banjo or guitar, belting out a musical treat . . to eager ears near and far. Hello friend Tommy, we miss you . . We miss you . . Our Native Star . .
