It’s not the outsiders moving into Chatham County that bother me nearly as much as those wanting to buy my land. I get several offers every month offering to buy my land “because they have some money they would like to invest in land.” Their ridiculous offers are less than half of what the tax value of the land is worth. I guess they think us “hillbillies” down here are as dumb as the old cartoons make us out to be!
