In the fall, when we announced that CORA would be hosting Empty Bowls in the spring, we didn’t yet know about the Omicron variant of COVID-19. Unfortunately, concerns about the virus and its effect on many aspects of our daily lives are ongoing.
Empty Bowls has become a favorite community event, and although we are disappointed, we believe that canceling this year’s event is for the best. CORA continues to promote safety, social distancing, and healthy habits.
CORA also wants to be mindful of the challenges many of our local restaurants and restaurant workers face during this trying time.
Everyone here at CORA is ready to put COVID-19 behind us, just as we are prepared to support our restaurant partners once again. The decision to cancel Empty Bowls 2022 was a difficult decision to make. We are truly looking forward to seeing you again! However, we are plan to return with the event in spring 2023 and hope to be better than ever!
Until then, please remember that local restaurants are an integral part of the success of Empty Bowls. We hope each of you will support the restaurants that also support CORA! So go place an order!
