In a recent post, Ms. Penley defended Mr. Voller and Main Street cohorts using Chatham County Line as a source. Since Mr. Voller took over the community newspaper of Mr. Serano’s, it supports his agenda. So citing it creates a circular loop. Mr. Voller’s paper supports Mr. Voller.
Ms. Penley complained the Sierra Club endorsed Mr. Vose, not Ms. Baldwin for Pittsboro Board of Commissioners. Ms. Baldwin’s voting record speaks for itself. She is no friend of trees or the watershed of the Haw River. She has gone along with Mr. Fiocco’s lead on giving Chatham Park anything it wants. Ms. Penley called him a gem and he’s certainly a gem for the developers. Recent posts on the chatlist indicate he, and Ms. Baldwin by following him, are putting the interests of Chatham Park developers over those of the town and community. Their votes have been abysmal for environmental protection of the river that feeds Jordan Lake, drinking water for millions. Several people have said Mr. Voller put Ms. Baldwin up to being on the board.
Perhaps Mr. Voller put Ms. Penley up to being a mouthpiece for his views.
