I would tend to agree with Bill assertation that Ms Culligan’s has some interesting responses, like taxes and homeowner’s insurance premiums NOT going to go up. Although my actual tax bill would disagree with Miss Culligan.
As far as taxes go – Back in the 80s and 90s, I volunteered on Long Island, NY at a local food shelter. One would think that a local food shelter would serve the homeless and destitute – when in fact, the majority were Senior Citizens!
Property taxes rose so high that Seniors living on Social Security could NOT afford to both Eat and pay Property Tax – people who worked all their lives now starved, in one of the richest places in America back then.
I am sure no one wants to see that happen in Chatham County.
