I have chosen to get my new puppy some training. I met with dog trainer Eliot of for an free consultative visit. He had posted a Friday classified on the Chatham chatlist a few weeks ago.
After the visit and Eliot outlining his training schedule I chose to go with the 4 week course at his location near Silk Hope. I also had the option of having Eliot come out to my home for the training sessions at an additional cost.

During this training I got Eliot’s OK to shoot some video segments. Some were to share with my wife so we could be consistent with the puppy’s trainings. Other segments were general training nuggets.

I try to go with Chatham County businesses when I can. For example, I used Supreme Renovations to put in a new roof to replace a 30 year roof a couple of years ago and have been really happy.
So far things are looking good with Eliot. I’ve got weekly training “homework” that I do with my puppy to make sure we’re on the pathway to success.
