I know of a prison where inmates are requesting Bibles to be able to follow along as the Pastor is preaching on Sunday by radio broadcast. According to a letter received, the inmates would like to start a Bible study group within the facility. The inmates shared that they are encouraged and appreciate the way the Pastor has touched their hearts. They asked the Pastor if he would hold a fundraiser to purchase bibles for them to use at the facility.
An inmate wrote a 2 page letter on behalf of other inmates to a Pastor to let him know how much they enjoy listening to the word being taught & preached on Sunday.
Hopefully, a fundraiser will not be needed if you feel lead to help in some way.
If anyone or any church have extra bibles they would like to get rid of or donate for a much needed & worthy cause, please reply by email. I will be willing to share additional information and put you in contact with the Pastor.
