I just wanted to tell Patty- Chewy is the one business I wouldn’t fire! They always make it right no matter the situation. Fed Ex is the problem. I haf numerous issues with Fed Ex (which Chewy always made right even though Fed ex was at fault). Twice I saw Fed Ex pull up to my house, never get out of the truck, and then drive off- no package. Each time when I called them, the driver had reported the package couldn’t be delivered. Not if you don’t get your butt out of the truck, no. Fed Ex in our county sucks.
Re: traffic violations, did you know that in NC we actually have to pay for our own wrecks? I have driven for over 50 years and in all that time, had 3 accidents. When I had an accident a few years ago, I did not receive a ticket or any citation. The insurance company I had for over 20 years informed me my rates would DOUBLE. Why? Partly because in NC even if not ticketed or anything, depending on the amount of damage, you have to pay a percent on your insurance for the next 3 years. Not sure who gets that cash but what a sweet deal. Pay for insurance forever, but hey- pay for your own damned wreck. That accounted for a 50% increase but the insurer added another 50% increase and lied about it, blaming the state (which I investigated and learned untrue.) Needless to day, that insurance company was promptly fired.
Don’t know why we pay for insurance. Except we are required to.
