Jay, with all due respect, an individual’s decision to mask when engaged in solo pursuits is a personal one. Surely you wouldn’t call a person’s choice to wear underwear, pants, shoes, etc if he or she was jogging alone or in his or her car alone “stupid.” I also consider this to be an issue of thinking about what an individual’s challenges might be. With the pollen counts raging this spring, some might be masking up to avoid sucking in huge blasts of pollen with each breath. Perhaps if we all try to think of masks as the latest fashion accessory we can lose some of the judgment around wearing them (or not).
