Yarn is needed by students currently in our state’s juvenile center where students are enclosed & cannot have visitors. Crocheting is therapeutic & calming. It enables students to make gifts for loved ones as part of rebuilding family relationships.
If part of your staying home includes discovering yarn you no longer need – you can take bags of yarn to the Chatham Youth Development Center on Progress Blvd. You can call Chaplain Moody at 919 742 6220.
Also needed are jigsaw puzzles & card games.
