Thanks for sharing your story of the marketplace Carole. My name is Evan and I took over as General Manager about a year ago. I’ve been working hard with our staff to improve the look and feel of the store, cleanliness and above all customer service. I’m also sorry to hear of your past experience. It’s unfortunate, but I’ve heard similar stories from others as well. We have a lot of work to do regaining people’s trust, and it’s such a joy to hear when we get it right.
We’re a funky little co-op grocer, slightly off the beaten path in town, but we have so much to offer. We’re open to everyone seven days a week. We can be a healthy, local alternative to fast food going to work like Carole says. We can be a quick stop in the evening for a forgotten ingredient. We’re a great place to stop for a treat if you’re out doing errands , or to enjoy a beer or wine on the porch on a nice evening. Or we could be your primary grocery store. We focus on local and organic products at competitive prices.
