One should keep politics and religion out of their business because it is only going to cost them customers

In reply to Marco’s Pizza and House of Hops Fundraiser Tuesday for Goathouse Refuge  by: Susan Brinkley-Clayton in the Saturday Chatlist.

There is an old expression that says one should keep politics and religion out of their business because it is only going to cost them customers. The same thing can be said for the “charities” that you decide to publicly promote.

Some of us in the county remember the conflict between the crazy cat lady at the Goathouse and Range-2A and the lies and hysteria on the part of the crazy cat lady. Thanks lady, the county doesn’t have a gun range due to you.

I have never set foot in Al’s Diner because of the numerous posts to this chatlist claiming his support for the crazy cat lady. Now, I know of two more businesses that I will not patronize. I am sure I am not alone.

Thank you for the “heads up”.

Oh, by the way, I am not anti-cat.  I currently have two of them and have had cats in my home for over 25 years.
