Friends and fellow Chatham County Citizens,
It is official; I’m running for Chatham County Board of Commissioners, District 2. There’s a primary election Tuesday, March 3rd and we need your help!
Are you happy with the recent changes in Chatham County? Do you think things could be better? Do you like Chatham just the way it is? Whether you answered yes or no to any of these questions, it simply doesn’t matter unless you have the freedom of choice in local politics. That’s what my candidacy represents – the freedom to choose.
I was born and raised in Chatham County. I went to North Chatham Elementary and Northwood High School. My entire adult life, I’ve paid Chatham County taxes and voted in Chatham elections. I’m not a career politician and I have no ties to private special interests. My campaign will be funded solely by individual contributions and volunteer efforts.
If elected, I will do everything in my power to ensure the Board of Commissioners responds only to the citizens of Chatham County. I will not bow down to the demands of social interests passing through the area. I will propose measures to benefit the lives of citizens across the entire county, not just the wealthiest pockets. I will communicate the intentions of our Board in simple terms so everyone can understand what’s going on and why. I will not hide behind legal jargon to mask a political agenda.
I want to see progress in Chatham but I don’t want lifelong citizens left behind. I want to see modern options for goods and services in our city centers. I want to implement changes that will attract businesses with emphasis on the environment and support the community’s needs. I want to be a catalyst for a reliable utilities’ infrastructure for our growing population and greater access to high speed internet for the +80% of us living outside incorporated townships. Help me realize our goals together by getting out to vote Tuesday, March 3rd!!!
If you or anyone you know wants to donate or volunteer, please email me at .
The voter registration deadline is February 7th at 5:00pm. Need help getting registered? You will need to complete a voter registration application. You can find this application; check your registration status, and other helpful information here: https://www.chathamnc.org/government/departments-programs/board-of-elections/voter-registration
Early voting begins February 13th; I will post a schedule closer to that date.
See you at the polls on Tuesday, March 3rd!
Thank you and God bless,
