Brad Page outlined a very effective concept in Monday Chatlist.

We gather together to encourage one another to do good works.

In this case those good works will be changing habits, a hard task, and the key is substituting another pleasure that is not harmful.  Good Luck. Losing the loneliness will be a wonderful reward.

First, I’d like to thank all the people who replied to my post on forming an autonomous group to support and discuss this illness and how we can help each other.

I met with the coordinator at Council on Aging, Pittsboro today. She’s has offered the use of the facility three days each week at 3 pm. Now the challenge is to assemble 8-10 people who are facing challenges somewhat like mine; anything to do with the heart and breathing is my target but I’d like to invite anyone who needs to increase stamina and strength.

Regards,
