Subject: Comunity Lunch Thanksgiving
Community Lunch at St. Bart’s Church invites you to our Annual Pre-Thanksgiving Feast on Thursday November 15, from 12 noon until 1 PM. Because we want our volunteers to be able to enjoy Thanksgiving Day with their families, we have our turkey day the week before! Along with the turkey, we’ll have sweet potatoes and oter traditional sides, including Jacci and Karen’s fabulous gravy.
Everyone is welcome. Our lunches are made possible by your donations and your volunteer service. We are so thankful to be serving the community together , now in our tenth year!
We give thanks to our food donors, including Phoenix Bakery, Lil’ Rooster Farm, CCCC Farm; Powell’s Berry Farm,Chatham Marketplace Farmer Food Share, Food Lion, Piggly Wiggly,Take and Eat Pantry, CORA, Pittsboro Bread Shop,Alston Chapel Church, and other local gardeners who share their bounty. Special thank you to Esther Neal who provides us with delicious pickles and home baked desserts .And to you, our guests, who make every Thursday a greeat day to gather with old and new friends.
