Subject: Mosquito Repelling Coils
I have more mosquitoes this year than I can ever remember. They are particularly aggressive in the hot afternoons. I put repellent on my self, but they still are very annoying just circling around.
I discovered a type of mosquito repelling coil at The Dollar Tree. There are four coils to the box, and it costs a dollar. They come with a little metal holder to assist in the burning. Each coil burns 5-7 hours (so they say)- I have never burned one completely. Outdoor you should place one every 10 feet. Should NOT BE USED INSIDE OF HOUSE, OUTSIDE ONLY. Patios and porches.
I use one when i am sitting outside working with plants. I find it effective but sometimes worry that I may be inhaling too much of the smoke. Sometimes it is colorless and in the air.
Any of that stuff is dangerous I believe. All of it should be used with extreme care. Some of it is worse than the mosquito bite.
