Subject: CCL Family Program Thursday – Wolves 4 Wolves: Our Endangered Red  Wolf

Families with school-age children (and up) and adults are invited to the Wolves 4 Wolves: Our Endangered Red Wolf program this Thursday evening, April 26 at Chatham Community Library.

Did you know that only 45-60 red wolves still roam their native habitat in eastern North Carolina? Red wolves have been on the Endangered Species list for more than 50 years. Folks are invited to meet with ambassadors from NC State’s student-led Wolves 4 Wolves program to learn more about the red wolf and efforts to increase their numbers in captivity and reintroduce them into the wild.

The program runs from 6:30 to 7:30pm and is free. Chatham Community Library is located at 197 Hwy 87N in Pittsboro. For more information, contact Katy at (919) 545-8085.

In keeping with the NC Public Records Law, e-mails, including attachments, may be released to others upon request for inspection and copying.
