Subject: Your paying what?!
I’m always in search of new opportunities for friends or others in my community. I stumbled upon your job posting for the Paperwork Specialist. Have you at all considered the rate of pay versus the quality of person you are seeking? You are offering minimum wage to start, and making $9 an hour upon successful completion of your proficiency exam. Based on the applicant questionnaire, you are short changing folks. Granted it’s working from home four days per week, but what expenses is the employee going to be able to pay at $9? This is a rate of pay destined to keep someone at or below poverty status. You do realize that McDonalds starts out at $8.25, with nowhere near the application process? And they pay that to high school students who are disorganized and don’t have to deal with stress. I’m so confused…
