Subject: Legit door-to-door insurance sales??
Hi all,
We had a man drive up to our home Monday evening. He took awhile to get to the point that he was selling insurance. He was overly friendly and had a handwritten list of our neighbors’ names and said he had talked with them already. Strangely, he was more persistent about learning the name of our dog. Did not bother asking our names. He did not leave a card. I believe his name was Todd and that the insurance company name started with an ‘A’. On Tuesday he was parked in front of our house for quite some time and didn’t leave until I came out. (Our dog will not stop barking if someone is out there and it’s quite challenging to work with the constant noise!) When I came out he didn’t roll down his window or anything, just drove away.
He drives a Mazda SUV, I have photos and a license plate #. With the string of robberies happening in the area I thought this was important for everyone to know about. If you feel this might be helpful to anyone just let me know and I’ll pass along what I have. Perhaps he is a legit and scatterbrained salesman, but perhaps not.
