Subject: “Volunteers for Nonprofit Grant Review”
Ok, Chathamites, here is how it works. . .
Democrats in charge do not want to make it look like they only want to give taxpayer money to their friends. So they make a committee, or a “panel”, or a “task force” to make it less dangerous for a democrat employee to make a decision. Let’s “share the blame”.
So a county employee who works for a long-time democrat county manager knows what her boss expects. Democrat county commissioners want to buy votes. Democrats who know how democrat government operates, apply for grant money from everybody giving money away. There are democrats helping other democrats find grant money. Getting grant money is taught by community activists in colleges now. “Moral Mondays” in Raleigh were funded by George Soros; a liberal billionaire, Hungarian socialist who wants to destroy America as we know it.
The ONLY way to limit how much taxpayer money is given by Chatham democrats TO Chatham democrats is by serving on a panel to review nonprofit funding requests. IF conservatives are allowed to “serve” on these “panels”, you may help steer “free” money from democrat friends toward more deserving causes. Let’s avoid giving money to a group who sues Siler City. Let’s avoid giving money to put on exclusive parties for democrat politicians. Let’s avoid giving money to friends who want to renovate local buildings while their competitors (who are NOT friends of democrats) have to struggle with government overreaching regulations.
Liberal retired democrat baby boomers love to “volunteer” so they can give other people’s money away to “deserving” causes (as defined by liberal democrats). It makes them feel like they are finally changing the world instead of growing government budgets.
If you are a rational, thinking, logical conservative with common sense, please consider volunteering to join these “panels”. Please post whether YOU are allowed to join. Let’s watch and see who is actually “chosen” to “serve”. . .
