So, the new studio is going wonderfully.

I have been very fortunate to have wonderful craftsman/builders/carpenters/
brick masons/graders!!!!!

I am in the home stretch. If you want a great grader, someone who digs a wonderful hole in the ground to make a great basement. I’ve got the name.

The fellow who laid my block for the basement did a wonderful job. It is beautiful and true and square.

The plumber who moved the dang sewer line that ran, are you ready for this, right through the basement workshop, is also great.

The carpenter, Greg Jones, who did the really heavy work in moving those pre engineered floor joists into position, is wonderful. He also did the wall, floors, set the windows, and generally put the whole studio together is great. Some of you may have seen his ads on the Chatlist. I highly recommend him.

Sooo, now I get to the issue that I am having.

I have called 5, yes that is correct, 5 HVAC contractors, to look at studio..

Now, the first one didn’t get back to me after he came out to see the project.
Numbers 2, 3 & 4 never returned my phone calls.
Number 5, said that he would meet me there, but never showed up.

Soooooooooo, here I am, wondering what in the world has happened. Is there so much business out there that the HVAC folks just don’t need the business?

As I wrote above, so far, everyone who has shown up to do the work, has been great. And there are lots of folks out there who have built buildings who can not say this.

I’m very pleased so far. BUT, I need a Mitsubishi mini split system for the studio. From all of my research, it seems like the best option. If I don’t need that space heated, then, I don’t have to heat it. And when I do, then they seem to have the best results and ratings. So, why is it so hard to find someone?

Okay, all of you Chatlisters, who do you know?

I need some help here.

Please let me know, either via the Chatlist or email.

Thanks.
