Subject: Regarding John Dykers and others in regards to the term “Alien”
I have to respectfully disagree with your calling out Taylor Kish’s use of the term Alien. It is the U.S. government itself that refers to them as aliens. I have worked in HR for years and worked with the Form I-9 where an employee must identify themselves as either: A citizen of the United States; A non-citizen national of the United States; A lawful permanent resident with an alien registration number; or an alien authorized to work. Taylor Kish is using the appropriate term. It is those that somehow want to defer the attention away from the truth that there are millions here here illegally which endanger us both physically and economically.
A funny side note is that there is a spanish language version of the I-9 form but it can only be used in Puerto Rico. I guess all those that can’t speak English must get someone to interpret the form for them (which is allowed as long as the interpreter certifies they completed it for the individual) or maybe it is true that either they really can speak the language or they are working illegally!

Taylor, please recognize that ‘aliens’ is the pejorative word here; illegal immigrant is more accurate. Aliens has moved in the language to represent ‘outer space’, implying less than human. A subtle change, but important.
And you lose the strength of your position by referring to those with a differing position as ‘stupid’, also a pejorative word.
Love an insightful disagreement, politely presented.
