Subject: About Dogs and Guns

It appears that Chatham County is not immune to ignorance about myths regarding “aggressive breeds” of dogs and “guns equal dead people.” Those of you who have asserted these positions are wasting everyone’s time. You have demonstrated very poor understanding of the subjects at hand and anyone who actually believes your positions based on your “arguments” is totally void of rudimentary critical thinking skills.

Here’s a fun idea: instead of violently asserting your uninformed opinions as if they are facts, how about you drop your biases and open your minds long enough to do some objective reading on the subjects? Until you do, you’re no different than someone who writes a review of a book based on the cover art and title.

Actually, let’s pull out an even better analogy. You’ve never actually READ the book, but you’re still constantly writing terrible reviews of the book based on having read a few bad reviews of the book on a website that only has bad reviews of books, and you spend your spare time looking for more bad reviews of that book to read so you can write even more verbose, scathing, and ignorant bad reviews. (Coincidentally, that sounds like everyone who thinks they have a political party-aligned opinion about the book “Atlas Shrugged.” Someone here will no doubt demonstrate what I mean tomorrow morning.)

Then again, I see the same people popping up with ignorant, uneducated, indefensible opinions-as-facts here all the time, so I expect nothing will ever change. Ah well, cue the calls from the county fascists for an end to anonymity and a silencing of dissent on the Chatlist in the name of “polite society.” ::grabs popcorn::
