Subject: Firearm friendly county
Ms. Crowell does not seem to understand it is “people” that hurt each other with guns, not guns alone. Living in a very rural part we and many out here are responsible firearm owners who use them to protect our pets, livestock, and ourselves form rabid animals and predators. Many also hunt to keep the deer population down. There has never been an incident here with violence. Pittsboro is a very small part of the county and the rest of us need them for other things than hurting people.
