Hello Everyone,
My name is Marian Rogers-Lindsay. I was born in Siler City. I currently live in Greensboro, North Carolina.
I am a Librarian/Teacher with the Guilford County School System. I have been working with Arcadia Publishing and several individuals in Siler City to publish a book called “Images of America – Siler City.” The book is a pictorial history book about Siler City. The book is scheduled to be in the retail stores in Siler City Monday July 21, 2014. I will be at the North Carolina Arts Incubator Friday August 15, 2014 during the 3rd Friday Art Walk from 3pm – 8pm conducting a book signing event. I will have copies of the book on hand to sign or you can bring in the copies of the book you purchase in town, and I will be glad to sign them for you. You will love the pictures depicting the history of Siler City from 1887 – 2013. I know I learned alot about my home town and having access to the pictures made my learning experience even richer.
