Phoenix post re ‘weapons of evil’. We actually agree; however, the focus should be on regulating PEOPLE not guns. I am vulnerable to bullies and home invasion and car jacking and so are you.
Survey of NC physician show 85% reluctant to certify someone as OK for a conceal carry permit. Survey results just published on AMA news on the net yesterday.
MY GUESS is that docs would have much less concern about saying that some patients should NOT have access to guns legally and under current law could say someone ought NOT to have a concealed carry permit.
This has caused considerable consternation for the general counsel of the NC Sheriff’s Assoc., sheriffs begin charged with administering the concealed carry permit program.
