Subject: Only about 30 people showed up to protest Chatham Park on Monday evening
I showed up at the courthouse about 6:30 pm to attend the Pittsboro Town Meeting.
Apparently Jeff Starkweather’s Pittsboro Matters group had called for a protest outside the courthouse in the circle before the meeting.
I counted only about 30 people present doing any kind of protesting.
