Regarding the recent following messages:
They are so correct: Just because the event does not occur in Chatham County does not mean it does not have deep roots in Chatham County.
I wanted to post an announcement about an Environmental Seminar at the Chapel Hill Library. The seminar covered the Exxon-Valdez, the aftermath, and Deep Water Horizon and the aftermath. These events affected all of us. The announcement was refused because it was not in Chatham County.
Also tried to post information about “Spring into Safety” an event held this past weekend at the Pittsboro Lowe’s Parking. I was given so much run-around that I will never try to post anything again.
But- if you are into accusations about Chatham Park, trying to revive Bella Donna, or any number of non-productive, pro-Chatham Park, and similar post, you get top billing.
Will you print this, Gene? Not a chance.
