Subject: HAbitat for Humanity Thrift Store find – is its yors?
I bought a a blue matted wall-hanging for the frame, at the Pittsboro Habitat for Humanity on Saturday, March 29. I have now re-used the frame and matting for my own purpose and this is what remains: a 12×9 piece of card stock, beautifully hand-lettered with the following: “Somehow a grandma always can find, Such thoughtful, and sweet things to do. Those warm gifts of love that mean such a lot To her family all the year through. For a grandma’s wisdom, a grandma’s love, And a grandma’s word of good cheer, Are things that her family needs very much, And cherishes more every year.” It is signed “Lindsey”. Additional writing under the signature: “Our hearts shall be full of love for you, always, Grandma. Happy Mother’s Day.
Two blue-paint hand prints are at the bottom, and two 1-1/2 x 2 inch photos, one of a little boy, about age 6, and the other of a little girl, about 2 are at the top, obviously the owner’s of the hand prints. They are labelled “Matthew 1983”, and “Leslie 1983”. These kids are both obviously in their 30’s or 40’s now.I hate to throw this lovingly created object out.
