Subject: Wake-Up Wednesday Networking Meetings
In response to Jeff Philips thanking folks who come to the monthly Wake-Up Wednesday networking meetings, I would like to extend my appreciation to Jeff and Leslie Landis, and all those who work to make the meetings possible.
I have been attending for at least 18 months and really hate when I have to miss a meeting. There are always a variety of familiar faces and first-timers. It is a great place to learn about what’s happening with local non-profit organizations and discover a business you didn’t know existed. Everyone is very friendly and supportive of each other. For me at least, a good number of the attendees have become business clients.
This is an excellent networking opportunity for non-profits and businesses of any size. And sometimes general members of the public show up just to hear what is being presented. Jeff does a wonderful job keeping things moving, on time, and on track! Come any third Wednesday of the month. The Carolina Roadhouse supplies a delicious $5 breakfast starting at 8:00 AM and the meeting officially begins at 8:30. The meeting ends at 9:30, but people typically stay an extra few minutes to network. If you own a business or are part of a non-profit you need to check out Wake-Up Wednesdays!
