Do you know of a family or organization who could use a helping hand?
Twice a year, Chatham Community Church, which meets at Woods Charter School, cancels its regular Sunday service and spends the morning serving throughout the Chatham community. We sing to the elderly, provide home repairs, and support local organizations such as Circles Chatham and Family Violence and Rape Crisis Services. We write letters to the incarcerated, landscape at local public schools, and welcome those new to the area. We love to do whatever we can do to bless and serve Chatham County!
Our next Chatham Serves is coming up on April 6th. An array of people, from cute children to skilled builders, are ready and willing to serve! We have committed to several projects, but we have still more people who are ready to take on one or two additional jobs.
Do you have, or know of, a local organization or family who could use a helping hand on the morning of Sunday, April 6th? If so, we’d love to find out if we could help! Please send some details about your project (approximate location, nature of work needed) to and we’ll see if our skills match your need.
