SEEKING SPONSORS:
100% of proceeds of Briar Chapel 5k go to The Abundance Foundation, a non-profit helping create a more resilient community through education and action around local food, renewable energy and community building. Through Abundance’s varied projects, coalitions and gatherings, we celebrate the abundance of good food, renewable energy and other resources here in North Carolina, and we empower people to take action to create their ideal community. Offering workshops, sustainability tours for all ages, farming adaptation conferences, and working diligently to improve school lunches, Abundance is helping make sustainable attainable in Chatham County and beyond.
Last year we had record attendance of over 300 people running to support local food shed, renewable energy education, and community resilience. It’s a lot of fun….more below!
This is the chance to show your spirit for creating a healthy, resilient community in harmony with nature for Earth Day. We would love your partnership to help make this a successful spring fundraiser for the Abundance Foundation to support year-round programming. Bring your hungry friends and family!
