Mr. West, your post about Jane Forbes was unfair. By taking her comment out of context you made her sound like an awful snob.
I don’t know Jane, but your post made me curious, so I read all the posts leading up to her comment.
She was, in fact, defending herself from a poster’s attack that Chathamites aren’t a very smart group. She was not bragging about her education, but defending us all, including you.
We “rubes” ought to be responding to the same poster that she did – unless we just like to make trouble and don’t worry too much about the truth.

Former Chatham Coalition Commissioner George Lucier better watch out. Looks like someone is looking to replace him as the “smarterst person in Chatham County.”
