Subject: Fw: Friday Night Movie, January 24
The Paul Braxton Gym at 115 South Third Avenue will be transformed into a big-screen movie theater on Friday, January 24, at 7:00 pm. The featured attraction follows the story of an American bar owner in Morocco who rediscovers his lost love amid Nazi intrigue and suspense in this black-and-white World War II classic. An all-star cast and exotic backdrop creates a powerful drama that will have you saying, =E2=80=9CPlay it again, Sam.=E2=80=9D = Please join us this Friday!
As an extra attraction, step back 50 years to 1964 and into the “Siler City Story: Welcome to Work” documentary. See if you recognize downtown and the people who worked here.
Friday Night Movies are sponsored by the Siler City Development Organization! There is no ticket to purchase, but donations will be accepted to keep the movies going. Concessions will be available for purchase. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Sorry if the publicity for the movie is “puzzling” but the performance license does not permit using the actual title of the movies, or naming the actors. Mark your calendars for the following Friday Night movie on February 7. This Irish comedy about a lottery ticket and everything that can go wrong is hilarious.
Sincerely,
Jack Meadows
