Subject: DISH experience
I have been researching for a T.V. provider offering the best deal.
A week ago Sunday I called the 800 number for the $19.95 offer DISH advertises have for one year. You have to sign up for two years. NO charges for connection etc.
Sales Rep was located in TX. Great talker! Signed me up for $29.95 per month and at very end slipped in the $40.00 installation fee.( This was suppose to have been the $19.95 deal they offer.
He said they could install it Monday. O.K. I get a call from Dish at 7:45 stating they would be here between 7:30 -8:30 a.m. By 9:00 nothing. I called the number from the morning call. Gal said he was at your door and no one answered! I said no. I have been sitting right by the window as well as I have a loud barking door bell. She said she would call him. Rang me back and said he could not find it. This is a dead end street, so I waited a few and called back. She did not know by now. A few min. service man called and said he was in town and would be another 20-30 min. as he was going to have breakfast. Sooo I called back again and ask for the regional manager. Gave him my info. and said forget today and NEVER send that person. He had no apologies etc. (more CUSTOMER NO SERVICE) After some time, and thought I called and CANCELLED the service.
I am open to information as to what company might be what they say they are and provide professional service.
