John Locke agrees with you that property rights are “God given” when God gave man dominion over the earth. These rights are established with humans improve by their efforts previously unowned land and do not in the process detract from the value of previously owned property of the neighbors.
eg. it would be fine to extract natural gas by fracking if one did not pollute the water and air in the process.
