Dear N.A. Booko:

I was wondering if you went by the Police Station to speak with the police chief about that situation?

I feel sure this would be something the police chief would want to know about immediately so he could handle it personally with that employee.  The officer would have been easily identified since he had checked out for lunch.  I am sure that does not speak for all of our officers who protect and serve us beyond our knowledge.  Who knows, that officer could have been dealing with a situation that had left him unable to eat and he was hungry.  I know myself that when I get hungry and can’t eat, I can get snappy too!  It still is not to late to go have a chat with the Police Chief, they keep records, and if you can provide the time of the incident and some physical features of the officer, I feel sure he can still help you.

Sincerely, ~ Beth
