Like others who know him, I am sure Harold Hart’s family, friends, and employees will remove the signs in a timely fashion – unlike many of the political signs that are everywhere in the county around election time.

Like many of Chatham residents, I have purchase furniture from Harold for over 50 years, and agree with posts made on chatlist. I was in Hart’s Furniture this week and Harold is not doing well at all, so his family, friends, and employees — whom he considers family — all need our support.. Harold not only sold quality furniture to Chatham and NC residents, he sold furniture nationwide and is well known and respected by all who know him.

There should be more people/business like Harold..

So, be patient, those signs will eventually come down.

  1. I am very disappointed in the furniture I bought at Hart Furniture. They had a large sale and brought in a sales force from out of town. These salesmen will lie and use every trick to get you to buy a furniture set. My salesman refused to allow me to leave and think about the purchase by coming back with a price that was lower and acting that it would not be lower anywhere. He would not let me go home and think about what I was buying. He didn’t show me the sales invoice. I only learned after I bought the furniture that “All sales are final, no refunds”, etc. I would never have bought the furniture if I had known that. No where in the store is this mentioned and no one told me. The furniture arrived scratched and one of the drawers does not open very well. The bed is very uncomfortable. I would never recommend their furniture and especially their beds. I got a back ache the first night I slept on this. This was a multi thousand dollar mistake. Shame on you, Hart Furniture!
